It is our great honor and pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you to the 14th International Congress of the Serbian Society of Toxicology and the 2nd ToxSEE Regional Conference, which will take place from April 22 to 24, 2027, at the Mona Plaza Hotel in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.

The main theme of the Congress, "Toxicology at the Crossroads: From Exposure to Health Impacts and Policy Making", reflects the complexity of modern toxicology and its increasingly vital contribution to addressing global challenges in human health and environmental protection. As our understanding of chemical, biological, and physical hazards continuously evolves, toxicology serves as a bridge between exposure science, mechanistic research, clinical outcomes, risk assessment, and evidence-based decision-making.

We live in a time when emerging pollutants, environmental and climate changes, technological advances, and evolving regulatory frameworks demand even closer collaboration among scientists, healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, industry representatives, and policy makers. Translating scientific findings into effective actions that protect human health and the environment has never been more crucial.

This Congress will provide a dynamic forum for exchanging knowledge, sharing cutting-edge research, and discussing key challenges and future directions in toxicology. Through plenary lectures, scientific sessions, panel discussions, and poster presentations, participants will explore a broad range of toxicological disciplines – from molecular and experimental toxicology to clinical, occupational, environmental, analytical, regulatory, and forensic toxicology.

Special emphasis will be placed on bridging the gap between exposure science and health outcomes, as well as fostering dialogue between science and policy. By promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and international partnerships, we aim to contribute to innovative solutions that support public health, environmental sustainability, and responsible policy making.
